This was a new type of site we built – based on WordPress, Win My Wheels was a fun and new style of website for us to build.
We focussed on WordPress for this site as it had a number of helpful plugins that we could use to get started – with a whole load of addtional customisation. We customised alot of the WordPress styling and layout such as the account page of customers which looked a bit ‘standard’ out of the box and alot of wording we altered dynamically. The plugin we used for the competitions required moderate customisation too. 3 different payment methods are set up for ease of use for the participants and the mobile version is very straightforward to get along with. Plenty of online competitions to choose from for your chance to ‘Win My Wheels’!
We had to pay particular attention to customer emails and customer engagement as this is what it’s all about – we were also asked to set up Facebook targetted ad campaigns alongside Instagram and other social media platforms. Because the types of wheels on offer are niche to certain brands, the targetting needed to be very specific. There’s alot to think about in terms of ads placement – who can forget the help of AI with all this – coming up with catchphrases/slogans may not work straight out of Chat GPT but it certainly helps in sending you in the right thought direction! We haven’t been involved directly with AI but we have to say that we like what we see when used in the correct manner. For Win My Wheels it was a must use and helped garner thoughts and ideas as to our ad layouts and offered options to us that we wouldn’t immediately have thought of.
We particularly liked the green and black styling! Bring on the competitions.
